Design Highlights:
The clients purchased an iconic mid-60’s Airstream Safari with a WhaleTail indicating that it was originally built right here in California. These beauties are high on the collectors’ list and the clients wanted to bring her back to life with a full shell-off renovation, and boy did we nail it. With only about 24feet to work with, we designed a multi-purpose room where living flows into kitchen flows into bedroom. We limited overhead compartments and build a period-piece inspired cabinet/bar/counter/shelf/fridge system. Thile the Airstream has a certain vintage feel, it is jam-packed with very advanced systems, appliances and gadgets to make this project a vintage rocket ready for the future.
