Vision

This project was all about redefining possibilities within the compact space of a 25' basecamp trailer. Our client, a solo adventurer with a passion for cooking and a love for her cat and dog, wanted to explore the country in comfort and style.

She came to us to source, design, and build an off-grid mobile home that would fit her lifestyle perfectly. Leveraging our network of Airstream experts, we located a 1973 Airstream Tradewind to transform into her ideal home on wheels, tailored for the open road.

To expand the unit’s living area, we created a "floating" drop-down aluminum deck, suspended by two sturdy wire cables and operated with the push of a button. Built to hold up to 1,500 pounds, this deck offers a spacious, durable extension to the unit. For added comfort, a mosquito net awning option provides protection from outdoor elements, while custom sliding dual-pane cedar deck doors bring both functionality and style.

The kitchen was thoughtfully designed to reflect the client’s passion for cooking, incorporating an open-concept layout to create a spacious, inviting atmosphere. We also made sure to accommodate her pets, adding a built-in space specifically for their food bowls, so everyone feels at home.

We completely reimagined the interior layout to support a range of functions, including a dedicated workspace, cozy bedroom, designated beds for both the dog and cat, and a spa-like wet bath.
