VANJET

2016 MERCEDES METRIS 

Client: Camper Rental Van startup
Vessel: 2016 Mercedes Metris
Location: California
Purpose: VANJET was designed for a camper rental startup to take #glamping to the masses. It was a fun project as we worked through the constraints of building out a small van to feel roomy, fun, luxurious and comfortable. The end product was all that and more. 

 

Amenities

  • Pop-out kitchen: We designed the kitchen on a slider so as to take the cooking experience outside (as well as the grease and steam). 
  • Outdoor Shower: What’s better than a hot warm shower outdoors. We loved it so much we made it a rain shower, to increase the spa-like experience.
  • Convertible couch and sleeper: The couch converts into a bed at the push of a button. 
  • High-tech systems: We out in all sorts of high-end systems in this Metris to increase the glamping experience in all types of environments and activities.
