The bathroom floor drains through two drop-in plank mats crafted from reclaimed wood. Water drains into an onboard grey water tank for off-the-grid use or diverted into the home’s septic system when parked at home.
To enhance its usefulness the owners wanted Sophia to act in dual roles as a guesthouse and playroom for their family to enjoy with two active children. The owners even built their own bunk bed from actual old, retired, reclaimed wood pallets.
